Sistersong!

Today is the beginning of the Sistersong conference, Let’s Talk About Sex! examining the connections between reproductive justice and sexuality. Since that’s almost exactly what my trip is about, I’m pretty excited to be here.  I’m also going to see many of the people I’ve met along the way, along with many of the people I worked with in San Francisco, which, yippee. 

I am also incredibly excited (picture dancing around in muggy Chicago streets, oblivious to traffic excited) to introduce Elizabeth Sy, who is traveling with me for the next two weeks and who will be guest blogging right here on Wanderlust with Rhonda.  So for the next two weeks, this blog is renamed "Wanderlust with Rhonda and Bruce".

Unfortunately, I never got around to several blog entries that I have percolating in my brain about Philadelphia, Newark, and Baltimore. I’m going to make a concerted effort to get them out of my head and onto the interweb in the next few days, and there will also be the recounting of our meetings today with adolescent health advocates, porn producers, and the owner of an erotic art gallery.  Dimitra, our lovely and indomitable host, is biking around with us, so today wanderlust is three!
